BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION Denver Fee Only Financial Planner

 

Bridge Investment Advisory Service, LLC is a fee-only, state registered (Colorado) Investment advisor.  Fred Bridge, Certified Financial Planner™, and Enrolled Agent (EA), is the sole owner and investment advisor.  Fred has almost 3 decades of professional financial planning experience, with eight years in Colorado. 

Fred has been a financial planner and registered investment advisor clearing through the brokerage firm of General Securities Corp. from 1987 to 2004.  Fred transitioned to a independent fee-only financial planner in 2004.

Fred earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, in 1974 and the CFP™ designation in 1985 from the College for Financial Planning.  Fred is also an Eagle Scout.  He is an Enrolled Agent.  An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.  Only Enrolled Agents, attorneys, and CPAs may represent taxpayers before the IRS. He has been a member of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce, the International Association for Financial Planning, Inc.,  the Financial Planning Association, sponsor to the Mountain Resource Center's annual fundraiser, "All That Glitters", and Mt Evan's Hospice's "Blue Ribbon Affair".

Fred's interest in financial planning is to form lasting and meaningful relationships with clients to help them achieve their lifelong financial goals. "I strive to listen to the concerns and problems that my clients have and to communicate financial and investment information in a caring and understandable fashion," Fred says.

Fred was born in Whitefish, Montana and moved to Evergreen, Colorado in 2000, after living and working in the Kansas City area most of his life.  Fred enjoys living in the mountains, walking park trails, listening to radio such as Car Talk with Click & Clack, the Prairie Home Companion, Coast-to-Coast AM (stream-link), and the Financial Sense News Hour.  He enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction and studying economic trends and history.   Fred is a fiduciary and abides by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Practice Standards and takes pride in providing low cost, tax efficient investing, financial planning, and investor education.   Fred is available to work with new clients.
